Cilo Cybin Pharmaceutical (Cilo Cybin) announces collaboration with the Cannabis Research Division of the Institute of Chemical and Bio-Technology (ICBT) at The Vaal University of Technology in Vanderbijlpark.

Cilo Cybin today, (Tuesday, 25 August) announced that the company is now in a commercial collaboration agreement with The Vaal University of Technology’s ICBT Cannabis Research Division through Cannabisness (Pty) Ltd. The latter and its director Mr. Hennie Venter are leading cannabis research in South Africa.

Gabriel Theron, President and CEO of Cilo Cybin welcomed the collaboration as a step closer to the company’s goal to utilise leading research and best practice in the production and manufacturing of Cilo Cybin medical cannabis. “Our intention is to remain at the cutting edge of technology driving South Africa and the world’s cannabis industries.”

Cilo Cybin is the first company in South Africa to have both a medical Cannabis Cultivation, and a Manufacturing license. The company is focused on the cultivation of medical grade cannabis flower and final products. Cilo Cybin’s indoor cultivation facility is GACP accredited and is current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant.
