Cilo Cybin Pharmaceutical was granted the go ahead to start the cultivation of medical cannabis. We received communication from our regulatory authority, South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) on 8 April 2020 that reads:
“GACP Status: Based on the areas inspected, the people met and the documents reviewed, and
considering the findings of the inspection, performed on above-mentioned and reflected in the
observations listed in the inspection report, and the company responses, the Authority is
satisfied that the Cilo Cybin Pharmaceutical ,is operating at an acceptable level of compliance
with the principles and guidelines of cultivation of medicinal cannabis.”
We are proud to be one of South Africa’s first medical cannabis cultivators to be granted a cultivation license adhering to the GACP standards. We now move our focus to EU-GACP accreditation as well as GMP and EU-GMP for our extraction and manufacturing facility.
